We are nearing the end of our office conversion. I wanted to make it into a playroom/office with the perfect balance of playful and sophisticated. It’s proven to be a much harder task than I thought. One thing that I knew I needed was artwork!
I cut out the alphabet on cardstock and got to painting. I started with lowercase letters and made sure to use lots of colors so that it really represented the playfulness in the room.
I stood back and admired my work.
But it needed more, so I added uppercase letters.
The walls are a chocolate brown and I didn’t want a huge contrast with the white of the canvas, so I watered down some brown paint and slathered it on. Here they are up on the wall. Please ignore the mess underneath. I love cheap, homemade artwork!
